BECOME A TEACHER TRAINING SCHOOL
Are you interested in selecting, recruiting and training excellent student teachers in your school? If so, the Bradford Birth to 19 SCITT is interested in hearing from you.
Training through our SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) is an approach to initial teacher training in which schools take the lead in recruiting and training new entrants to the profession.
We are interested in working with schools who are committed to Initial Teacher Training.
We are extremely proud that many of our trainees find employment in their placement schools. Working in partnership with Bradford Birth to 19 many of our schools have grown their own staff through hosting teacher training placements. We offer all mentors continual professional development through our mentor development programme. All placements are funded and are supported by regular visits from our tutor team.
